Inspired by the holding company’s sports sponsorship direction, Volkswagen Jordan represented by Nuqul Automotive recently announced its sponsorship of the tennis championship held at the Orthodox Club in Abdoun.

The championship is organized for double male players over 30 years of age and includes a wide range of levels, starting with recreational to professional ones. Several matches will be held at the Club’s tennis courts accommodating up to 300 viewers per match.

Commenting on the sponsorship agreement, Mr. Tareq Al Naber Brand Manager of Volkswagen Jordan at Nuqul Automotive said:”We are delighted to sponsor this championship. Volkswagen has an extensive portfolio of sports sponsorship initiatives around the world and our very first tennis partnership in Jordan is a great asset.”

Sportsmen are definitely Volkswagen’s target and we are happy to be able to provide them with the equipment needed for this tournament.” Engineer Al Naber added.

Mr. Nabil Mourqus, a member of the tennis committee at the Orthodox Club, said: “The tournament has come a long way since 1952 and on behalf of the Club I would like to thank Volkswagen Nuqul Automotive for the support. This sponsorship portrays their belief in local sports, commitment and support to sports in the Kingdom.”

The championship was concluded by a crowning ceremony followed by a special dinner in honor of the winners and in the presence of all the participants and the board of the club.
